Fees

Some of Crafty Girl services may incur fees for sellers. How to pay your taxes and fees is explained in this Fees & Payments Policy. Our Terms of Use include this policy. You accept this policy and our Terms of Use by starting a Crafty Girl Market.

  1. Fee Types The following kinds of fees could be imposed on sellers. Please be aware that any fees indicated do not include other applicable taxes. For more information, see the Taxes section below. It is crucial to remember that there are no refunds for any service charges, including those paid in advance.

a. Transaction Fee: 10% A transaction fee equal to 10% of the price you show for each listing plus the amount you charge for shipping and/or gift wrapping will be applied when you make a sale on CraftyGirl.com or Crafty Girl Mobile. The transaction charge will not be applied to sales tax if you sell from the United States. The transaction charge will be applied to the listing price (which should include all applicable taxes that you, as the seller, are responsible for), shipping cost, and gift wrapping cost if you sell from a location outside of the United States. The listing price you display is subject to the same transaction fees outlined in this section. For further details on whether you must include applicable taxes in your listing prices, see the Taxes section below. Every time a sale takes place, transaction fees are subtracted from your current balance and shown in your payment account.

b. Listing fee: $0.50 The listing fee on our online selling platform is a one-time cost of $.49 per item listed, designed to showcase your product. This fee includes the setup of your listing, and access to our secure transaction system; ensuring your products.

  1. Shipping And Handling Sellers are responsible for shipping and handling costs, which they can calculate and add to their buyers' totals. To do this accurately, consider the following steps: Determine Package Weight and Dimensions: Weigh your item and measure its length, width, and height. For irregularly shaped items, estimate dimensions based on a suitable box size. Select a Shipping Carrier and Service: Choose a carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS) and a service level (e.g., standard, expedited) that best fits your needs. Use a Shipping Calculator: Many platforms provide shipping calculators that factor in package details and buyer location to estimate costs. For example, eBay's shipping calculator allows sellers to input package weight and dimensions to determine accurate shipping charges. ebay.com Add Handling Fees: If applicable, include any additional costs for packaging materials or special handling. Apply Calculated Shipping to Listings on your Market platform. By following these steps, sellers can ensure that shipping and handling costs are accurately calculated and transparently added to the buyer's total during checkout.

  2. Seller and Market Reporting Crafty Girl will notify the appropriate government agencies of your personal information and transaction details where required by law. Crafty Girl will provide 1099-K documents to specific US sellers in order to meet IRS and state regulations. You can choose to get your 1099-K form electronically at any time.
